Making a Membership Site


The Membership Feature allows you to password-protect any page(s) of your website, making them accessible only to approved members. It’s perfect for “Members-only” content, like private resources, classes, or gated content. You can:


- Automatically or manually approve new members
- Set a Members Home Page
- Manage all signups from the Site Members panel on your dashboard


Note: The Membership feature requires the Advanced Plan.


How to Add the Membership Feature


1. Navigate to the page you’d like to password-protect (just as if you're about to edit it).


2. Click Add > Membership.


3. Answer the prompts:


- Make this a members-only page? Say Yes to password-protect it. Choose No to remove protection.
- Select a Members Home Page – This is where users land after logging in.
- Choose member approval setting – Auto or Manual. You’ll receive notifications either way.
- Add a Sign-Up Widget? Choose Yes to allow visitors to sign up on the page (best practice: add it to the header). You can also manually add members from the Site Members panel.


4. Save the page.


To add or remove password protection on additional pages, just repeat these steps.


You’re now ready to launch your members-only site!
